failed evidence collection right after install and warning about deprecated packages

I have just installed the website evidence collector in a fresh vm that runs Ubuntu 24.04 with the command that is listed in the readme. After that, the readme suggests to run a test on example.com. However, I get an error message:

Also, when I ran the install script I got a few warnings that stated that I was running an older version of node, but apt update does not offer any newer node versions?

I have no idea what's going on here.
