Iteration versus Milestone for Sprint management

As-Is : most of squad make use of Iteration 1 or 2 weeks to manage the sprints However, CMDB/DEV are using Milestones , initally for Relaease mgt but can be derived for Sprint management​

However, it enables quicker reporting through automatic reporting by label (operation, project, compliance) with this milestone​

Also, it enables to see the merge requests at the same time​.

It also enable the management of the burndown charts ?
