Awarded vs. Purchased Contest Entries in EU Contest Result Notifications

I would like to clarify the distinction between two different cases in contest result notifications at the EU level.

Awarded applicants – These are participants who have won a contest and receive a predefined award (e.g., first, second, or third place). Their details (such as OPT-320, BT-3202, BT-1711, BT-171) are included in EU contest result notifications.

Purchased contest entries – In some cases, the contracting authority may decide to purchase specific elements (e.g., an idea, a design feature) from non-awarded participants without granting them an official prize or placement. This means that the purchased work is utilized, but the applicant did not win the contest itself.

Our question is: Does the EU contest result notification system differentiate between these two cases? While it is clear where awarded applicants are listed, we could not find specific fields in the eForms templates to record the purchase of non-awarded entries.

Could you confirm if there is a designated section for such purchases? If not, is there any plan to introduce a dedicated field to distinguish them from awarded entries?

Thank you for your assistance.
