Question VTP point 8.13.6.1 CO2 emission value(s) in the verification test measured, corrected
Migrated from [VECTO-1782].
Hello,
in the current regulation of the CoP CO2 test VO 2022/1379 DE there is one point that is not clearly described:
8.13.6.1 CO2 emission value(s) measured in the verification test, *corrected *(g/kWh)
It is unclear what a correction should look like here for CO2?
No explanation or definition of how a correction of the measured CO2 value should be carried out or calculated could be found in the regulation.
In the case of fuel consumption, this is done by taking the net calorific value into account. (see image, Consideration of the net calorific value for diesel fuel (excerpt from regulation VO_2022_1379_DE / p. 189)
According to the expertise of our engine colleagues who carry out PEMS measurements, a correction of the CO2 via the net calorific value as with diesel fuel makes no sense.
Thank you in advance!
Best regards, Andreas
