IPv6 support
Code.europa.eu is not available on IPv6 (https://en.internet.nl/site/code.europa.eu/3110368/), but the commission is (https://en.internet.nl/site/commission.europa.eu/3110381/).
It would be useful to have for the frontend (code.europa.eu) IPv6 support (if you want to have it in the backend it is up to you).
IPv6 support is crucial as more and more operators in Europe switch to IPv6-only (with legacy tunneling for IPv4). Keeping up the IPv4 infrastructure is costly, has security and performance issues (e.g. carrier-grade NAT). IPv6 is now mature since many years. Big tech companies switch to IPv6 only infrastructures (e.g. https://engineering.fb.com/2017/01/17/production-engineering/legacy-support-on-ipv6-only-infra/ and https://blog.apnic.net/2017/01/19/ipv6-only-at-microsoft/ and )
Other code repositories such as Codeberg (https://en.internet.nl/site/codeberg.org/3110403) or gitlab.com (https://en.internet.nl/site/gitlab.com/3110442/) support this as well .
