Pull request #915: avoid trying to removing the same disabled gears over and over again (which leads to an error because an already disabled gear cannot be disabled twice).

Merge in VECTO/vecto-sim from VECTO/mq_vecto-sim:bugfix/VECTO-1661-gear-disabling-not-functioning-in-3.3.12.2800 to develop
